Luxurious Hotel on Costa Rican Pacific Coast
My wife and I stayed at Marala for 3 wonderful days of luxuriating in a stunning setting. The view of the Pacific from the infinity pool was wonderful, then we swam over to the in-pool bar for some refreshment! The restaurant was great, a delicious selection that had us planning meals in advance. The service was excellent, especially Brian, who took great care of us. The room was awesome, with it's own roomy balcony, a luxurious bed and shower. A refuge from the heat and humidity of the Costa Rican coast. The beach was a short drive away, with some divey bar-restaurants serving typical food and playing great music.
Perfect end to holiday
The Marala Hotel was the perfect place to pamper ourselves at the end our active 7 week Costa Rican vacation. The hotel is beautiful & relaxing, and the beds are super comfortable. Tina, the manager, was very sweet and allowed us to check-in early and check-out late, and even drove us up the hill from our bus drop off. We saw iguanas, macaws & capuchins, and could hear toucans. The service and meals were too notch. We highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Hotel Marala.
Tina, the manager, was fantastic — very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant was excellent and we especially loved the bruschettas!
The rooms were comfortable and the pool was very pleasant. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.
